Willie (Bo) Johnson grew up in North Lawndale.  Like Rock, Bo was “a crook” early in life. One day, Bo found himself tired of being a crook, and began looking for another way.  Bo began watching Rock, who had chosen a new path. Together with Rock, Bo was one of the founders of MMAD.  Having taken a lot, Bo decided it was time to give back. He did not want the local kids to travel the path that he did.

Bo will continue to work with MMAD as long as he is able.
