Rich Bornhoff is a compassionate and dedicated individual who finds joy in giving back to his community. Rich enjoys volunteering at a local food pantry, where he is able to ensure that families have access to nutritious food. Rich’s commitment to service extends to his role as a Board Member on the Outreach program at St. John of the Cross Parish in Western Springs, where he actively participates in various community support programs. As a Eucharist Minister, Rich provides spiritual support and comfort to his Parish community, reflecting his deep faith and dedication to helping others.

Rich is also blessed with the opportunity to cook and serve meals for about 60 people at the BEDs shelter in Chicago, offering nourishment and kindness to those in need. When not volunteering, Rich enjoys gardening and hopes to plant extra vegetables to donate to local food pantries, combining his love for nature with his passion for helping others. In his spare time, Rich works for Bengtson’s Pumpkin Farm.  He has three grandchildren and his wife calls him Donkey (from Shrek) because he’s always finding opportunities to volunteer.
